Nortel Certifications are the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the IT industry. This certification program is designed to validate your knowledge and skills in your work area, by assessing your competence to successfully perform duties, tasks, or activities associated with current job requirements which are also covered in our Nortel Dumps. In this article, we would like to introduce you to Nortel Certifications. You will learn about them what they are exactly, how you can become certified by them, and what positive impacts a certificate will have for you in your career as an IT professional.

Introduction of Nortel Certification

Nortel certification is a type of certification based on the Nortel Characterization Foundation framework. Nortel Certification follows the international ISO standard for certifications and provides an independent form of verification that a product or service is compliant with internationally recognized standards within the industry. The Nortel certifications are recognized globally by end-users, distributors, resellers and service providers which are also covered in our Nortel Dumps. Nortel’s new program was developed in response to an extensive survey of the industry that showed a strong demand for product compliance with international standards such as ISO networks. The program was created to support both the quality of Nortel products and service levels for users of these products. It also supports the promise of quality products made by distributors, resellers and service providers throughout their organizations.

Nortel certification ensures that the product will be compliant with the standards in its industry. It is a third party evaluation of certain aspects of the product, services or processes. The Product Certification program (PC) ensures that selected aspects of a product or service are compliant with international standards such as ISO Networks. Services Certification ensures that selected aspects of a service are compliant with applicable standards around quality and safety.

The program consists of a series of product certification and service certification criteria. Each criterion is developed by a technical committee to ensure that it is technically relevant and meets the needs of the market. To achieve certification, a company must submit its product or service for evaluation by an Accredited Certification Body (ACB) as defined by the standard. The ACB will audit the company using various audit methods and tools to verify if each criterion in the standard has been satisfied as well as whether or not the product complies with international standards within its industry. Only when the ACB is satisfied that the product meets all criteria in the standard will the company receive a certificate for their product or service.

Certification Program of Nortel

The Nortel Network Certification Program was originally launched by Nortel (Canada) Ltd. in 1995. In 1999, the certification program underwent a name change to become more closely aligned with other international Nortel programs and to be more recognizable in the marketplace. The program began as an extensive survey of users, distributors, resellers and service providers in order to determine how best to meet their needs. The survey showed that many were interested in an independent form of certification to ensure that their products or services met standards in their industry. Through the completion of this survey, a program was developed to support the quality of Nortel products and service levels for users around the world which are all included in Nortel Dumps. In 2009, Nortel Networks (Canada) Ltd. became a member of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation’s network business unit. As part of a global agreement between the two companies, Nortel Networks (Canada) Ltd. became the facilities management and certification organization for the Mitsubishi Electric brand network products. The Nortel certification program was re-launched under the Mitsubishi Electric name with a global standard for certifications based on ISO/IEC 17065: Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.

In 2011, TIA awarded Nortel Certification as a source of ISO/IEC 17065 certifications in North America.

In the near future, Nortel/Mitsubishi Electric will establish a certification program that meets the needs of the Japanese market. This program will be aligned with the ISO/IEC 17065 certification standard and rebranded as Mitsubishi Electric Certification.

Currently, ACBs that have successfully completed the ACB qualification process can act as Nortel/Mitsubishi Electric Accredited Certification Bodies for PC or SC products. The table below provides information on current ACBs in each country where Nortel products are available.
